Looking to the future – Marco Lamonaca to coordinate state-of-the-art product development as new Director Products & Innovation.

In most cases innovations are not a coincidence. They are the result of concentrated work with a precise focus on current and above all future customer requirements and, first and foremost, require a sure instinct for correct timing. For this reason, the Circlon | group is also aligning its personnel strategy accordingly, as reflected by the current appointment to a leading position in product development: Marco Lamonaca moved into his office in Cologne on 1 April 2019 as the new Director Products & Innovation.

Marco Lamonaca will act as the linchpin, bringing together and coordinating the competencies from development, marketing and sales so that customers benefit even faster and more comprehensively from the innovative solutions of the Circlon | group. Commenting on this, Marco Lamonaca says: "The increasing need for digitisation in the retail and logistics sectors creates both opportunities and challenges. The Circlon | group’s outstanding Solutions & Services enable customers to use them profitably and master them. Here I see it as an elementary part of my mission to optimally coordinate impulses from the market, technological trends and practicability in order to realise individual solutions efficiently and in line with market requirements."

Michael Zitzmann, CEO of the Circlon | group, has a clear idea of where Marco Lamonaca will be doing the fine-tuning in the company: "Marco Lamonaca will continue to improve the innovation processes of the Circlon | group and the interaction of various departments in all competence centres. This will enable us to further develop our individual solution strategies, which means above all that we will work together with our customers to implement solutions that give them advantages and increase their performance."
